ForeverDads Gearing Up For Golf Classic
Area golfers will tee off on October 2 to celebrate fatherhood.
The 6th annual ForeverDads Champions of Fatherhood Golf Classic is back in Zanesville with a new location this year. The outing will kickoff with a shotgun start at noon on October 2 at Eaglesticks Golf Club, with lunch provided beforehand.
“When we got the opportunity to be a part of this outing we were really excited, we’re a really big fan of their ‘Tribute to Fatherhood’ that they put on every year, and so we’re hoping that EagleSticks can bring their golf outing up to the level of their ‘Tribute to Fatherhood,'” said Director of Golf, Kelly Morrow.
ForeverDads is a local organization that encourages, educates and equips men to become positive influences in their children’s lives. The day isn’t just for golfing, Board Member, Allen Bennett, said there are plenty of other activities on the agenda as well.
“it really is for a good cause, it’s going to be a great day, we have all kinds of stuff going on, we have a ball drop, we have our pathway of honor, of course the golf, good food, it’s going to be a good event,” Bennett said.
The organization is still in need of more teams to play. If you’re interested in playing or becoming a sponsor, visit foreverdads.com to register.
