Former Tri-Valley Girls Basketball Coach Hired at River View

Former Tri-Valley head girls basketball coach Marty Bice has officially been hired in the same capacity at River View following a school board meeting Monday night.

Bice accumulated 235 wins in 16 seasons with the Lady ‘Dawgs before he was non-renewed by the school board following the 2014-15 season. He led Tri-Valley to the Division II state semifinals in 2005 and helped bring five MVL championships, seven sectional titles and a pair of district titles to Dresden

Bice replaces Jeff Vickers, who resigned from his post in July. The Lady Black Bears defeated St. Clairsville in Division II sectional tournament action in February before falling to district runner-up Maysville in the sectional final.
