Former Zanesville Coach Sentenced on Sex Charges
A Zanesville City School Employee who pled guilty to sex crimes learned his fate in Muskingum County Common Pleas Court. The Muskingum County Prosecutor’s Office says 34-year-old Michael Law was sentenced to seven years in prison and classified as a Tier III sex offender. On February 1st the former coach and teacher’s aid pled guilty to three counts of Sexual Battery, and one count of Illegal Use of a Minor in Nudity Oriented Material or Performance. Zanesville Police say the charges were in connection with misconduct with a juvenile student.
