The Fraternal Order of Eagles donates $3500 to South Zanesville Fire Department

ZANESVILLE, Ohio- A local fire department is able to better service the community thanks to a generous donation from an organization.
The South Zanesville fire department used this money to purchase life saving medical equipment such as a portable suction unit and split equipment.
“To receive this money from the Fraternal Order of Eagles is the greatest thin that we can possibly expect from them,”South Zanesville Fire Department, Chief, Russell Taylor said. “It helps us further our first responder program with much-needed equipment we need to save people’s lives.”
Eagles president and secretary presented the South Zanesville Fire Department with the check Wednesday.
“We’re people helping people, “Secretary, William Rucker Jr said. “We try and help out our community, along with helping our community we contribute to 14 charities as well.”
“We certainly invite anybody that wants to become a member get an application and come on in,” president, Gayle Roth said. “We certainly invite everybody.”
