Freda Irene Hart

Freda Irene Hart, 81, of Zanesville passed away Wednesday December 7, 2022, at Genesis Hospital.  She was born October 15, 1941, in Zanesville a daughter of the late Otty and Addie Barton Mayle (Addie passed away when Freda was a child) and Stepmother Ethel Mayle.

Freda was a homemaker and enjoyed baking, cooking and quilting. She also loved to read and collect bird houses.

She is survived by her significant other Jeffrey Hart whom she shared a home with; two sons: Dean Devoll (Karen Lewis) and Danny Devoll (Amy Dunkle); four daughters: Debbie Sorensen (David Hoskinson), Brenda Irene Devoll, Tammy Duesenberry and Cristene Stanford (Randy Stanford); one sister Bonnie McHenry; several grandchildren, great grandchildren and great- great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and stepmother she was preceded in death by her first husband Lawrence Devoll; brother Francis Mayle; her son-in-law Timothy Duesenberry and several stepbrothers and sisters.

Private services will be held with Steve Harrop officiating.  She will be laid to rest beside her husband Lawrence Devoll in Duncan Falls Cemetery.
