Free Books for On the Same Page Muskingum

On the Same Page Muskingum aims to get people excited about reading.

The two month-long event is doing just that by opening up discussions on books about Zane Grey. On the Same Page Muskingum highlights the titles; Betty Zane, Riders of the Purple Sage, The Young Forester and his biography called Zane Grey: His Life, His Adventures, His Women.

“It’s a great opportunity for all of us to be reading similar titles and to be talking about them during September and October,” said Blair Tom, assistant director of the Muskingum County Library System.

To further encourage people to participate, the Muskingum County Library System has 50 free copies of the four books.

“It was really part of the project’s goal to not only have people reading and discussing the same book but to also have books in their home libraries as well,” Tom said.

The library’s free copies are on a first come, first serve basis. However, Tom said once those are gone, there are still plenty more Zane Grey books in circulation.
