Free Hotel Stay for Military

A free hotel stay is being offered to Veterans and those currently serving in the Military.

The Holiday Inn Express and Suites in Zanesville is just one of the nine locations offering the free night stay.

"The troops that are coming in from Iraq that need to stay with their families they will come in and they can have a free night either on Christmas Eve or Christmas Day," said Holiday Inn General Manager Jennifer Faris.

Faris said the company began the offer nearly 10 years ago when the owner’s daughter served in Iraq.

"Everyone we run into are very appreciative," said Fairs. ‘We just continue to show our support to all of them, the vets, the troops."
