Friends and Family see Miss Ohio Pageant Contestant off

Matti Chrisman gave friends and family a sneak peek at her pageant run-through today.

She looks forward to the Miss Ohio pageant in Mansfield next week. Chrisman said she’s excited to move onto the next step in her career.

“I’m feeling very excited and very blessed that people came to support me,” said Chrisman. “My family has always been really supportive and of course Ana, Miss [Southeast] Ohio Outstanding Teen, her family is very supportive of both of us. I just feel very grateful and I feel like I’m ready. ”

The girls showed off their evening gowns, and even practiced interviews to give their supporters an idea of the work they’ll be doing at the pageant. If Chrisman takes the Miss Ohio title she will be on to claim the Miss America crown next.

“That is the ultimate goal, is to be Miss America,” said Chrisman. “That’s the goal. ”

Chrisman was joined in the send off by Ana Presley who was crowned Miss Southeast Ohio Outstanding Teen. Both girls will leave on Friday to move forward in their pageant careers.
