Fuel Spill Clean-up Underway

The Washington Township Fire Department has responded to a large fuel spill at the Adamsville Road Westbound off ramp of I-70. Initial reports from the scene indicate that between 40 and 50 gallons of fuel spilled. The Zanesville Fire Department has also been called to the scene to provide some oil dry to help clean up the spill. The Ohio Environmental Protection Agency is also being advised of the incident which was reported just at 6:00 a.m. Wednesday.
