Fugitive Back In Custody

The Perry County Sheriff’s Office says they got their man. Sheriff William Barker says 51-year-old Robert Franklin of Crooksville who was on the run since November of last year is in custody. Last Monday he was arrested without incident by the United States Marshall’s Office in Jacksonville, Illinois. Barker says Franklin was indicted by a Perry County Grand Jury last November for his role in the manufacturing of Meth that occurred in his home at 315 Pine Street. Barker says Franklin is accused of aiding a co-defendant, Bryan “Squeak†Wolfe in the Meth production process by providing the supplies and location to produce the drug. Wolfe has already been sentenced in the case. If convicted on all charges Franklin could face 13 years in prison. He is currently being held in the Southeast Ohio Regional Jail.
