Gary L. Turner

Gary L. Turner, age 60 of Zanesville, passed away, 11:15 AM, Sunday, February 16, 2020 at Licking Memorial Hospital in Newark, OH.

He was born Saturday, May 2, 1959 in Alliance, OH the son of Lucius May Turner

Gary was a member of the Starlight Industries and Workshop, and worked at Midwest Services. He was a huge Ohio State Fan and won many many medals with the Special Olympics.

He is survived by one brother: Bobby (Becky) Turner of Steubenville; three nephews; caregivers: Salicia Thomas, Janet Carper, and Samantha Paul; roommate Denise Bunker and a host of friends.

Friends may call from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM on Thursday, February 20, 2020 at the Hillis, Combs & Nestor Funeral Home, 935 Forest Avenue, Zanesville, OH. A funeral service will be held 1:00 PM on Thursday, February 20, 2020 at the funeral home. Burial will conclude in the Woodlawn Cemetery Zanesville.
