Gas Prices
Zanesville, Ohio- Gas prices are down in this area an average of ten cents a gallon from this time last year, according to GasBuddy.com
Gas prices on average, are down to just over two dollars a gallon and that’s allowing people like Ronald Slaven to be on road, more often.
“The gas around here is a lot cheaper than from where I’m from,” said Slaven. “I’m from Washington, Pennsylvania, and its way cheaper here (in Ohio).”
With Independence Day just a few days away, David Reed said low gas prices allow families to do more.
“It frees up money for people to do other things with, said Reed. “All the people aren’t concerned with the cost of gasoline they are putting in their car, it allows for families more ways to spend their money than just of gasoline.”
According to GasBuddy, the Marathon in Crooksville has the lowest gas cost at $2.02 a gallon.
