Gas Well Fire Investigation

The Noble County Sheriff’s Office said an investigation is underway into a gas well fire. 

Sheriff Steve Hannum said the fire was reported around 9pm Monday just north of Summerfield off State Route 513. 

Sheriff Hannum said the fire was quite large and burned for a short time. No injuries were reported. 

The Sheriff’s Office was assisted by the Summerfield, Caldwell and Quaker City Fire Departments along with Noble County’s Emergency Management Director and United Ambulance.
