Gebhart Indicted by Grand Jury

A man involved in a shooting related incident last week at Terry’s Tavern has been indicted by the Muskingum County Grand Jury.

Tristan Gebhart of Zanesville is facing the following charges:

*Two Counts of Carrying a Concealed Weapon, felonies of the fourth degree
 Two Counts of Possessing a Firearm in a Liquor Permit Premises, felonies of the third degree with firearm
specification
 Two Counts of Tampering with Evidence, felonies of the third degree with firearm specification
 Two Counts of Violation of a Protection Order, felonies of the third degree with firearm specification
 Violation of a Protection order, a misdemeanor of the first degree
 Assault, a misdemeanor of the first degree
 Aggravated Menacing, a misdemeanor of the first degree
 Aggravated Robbery, a felony of the first degree with firearm specification
 Two Counts of Aggravated Burglary, felonies of the first degree with firearm specification

The Zanesville Police Department said that Friday night they were called to Terry’s Tavern on a report of a fight and that a shot had been fired during the altercation outside the business. They arrested Gebhart a few blocks away as he fled the scene.

ZPD said it’s unknown who fired the shot outside Terry’s. The Muskingum County Prosecutor’s Office said that Gebhart is not charged with shooting a gun during the incident.

They also anticipate charges being filed in the future on additional defendants related to this matter.
