Genesis Community Service Awards Recognition

The Genesis Healthcare Foundation was proud to award two outstanding individuals this evening.

Bud and Audrey St. Clair were recognized tonight by receiving the Genesis Community Service award in honor of their outstanding and selfless service to our community. The couple was nominated for the award and was later selected by the recognition committee. Chair of Genesis Healthcare Foundation, Alice Mauk explains how much hard work goes into receiving the award.

"Its not just someone that’s involved in hospital work, this is somebody that’s involved in the whole community. And the couple we are honoring tonight has been very involved not only within the hospital but within the community."

Helping at schools, raising money at car shows, and participating with the black lung program are just some of the many community service events that the st. Clair’s have put hours of their time into. Tonight’s event also recognized past award recipients who have received the genesis community service award years prior. Molly Tharp, the Genesis Healthcare Foundation Recognition Chair is happy to be a part of such a great event.

"It’s just an honor to be here and to enjoy the fellowship and the fun and to be able to recognize two awesome people."
