Genesis Healthcare System opening Family Practice in Dresden

DRESDEN, Ohio- An area healthcare provider is expanding to a town near you.

Genesis Healthcare System is opening the Dresden Family Practice on Tuesday August 1st at 101 West Dave Longaberger Avenue. Vice President of operations for Genesis Physician Services, Chris Schoelles, said the location was ideal to serve patients who live north of Zanesville.

“As we were looking at locations we looked in Coshocton, we looked in a few other spots and it just came to mind and this great facility we are sitting in kind of came available and we were super excited about it. Dresden kind of serves as a great epicenter for northern Muskingum County and can also serve to service some patients out of Licking County but also be easy access for the patients in Coshocton County as well.”

With the new location, Schoelles told us about some of the services that will be available.

“So we are doing well visits for both adults and children. We are doing vaccinations for children as well and we are also doing sport physicals and physicals in general.”
