Genesis Spirit of Women: Day of Dance

 Eight local dance groups performed at the Colony Square Mall to promote movement for better health.

The 10th Annual Genesis Spirit of Women Day of Dance event took place Saturday morning where nearly one thousand people in attendance received free health screenings and wellness information.

Holly Voltz said this is a special and unique program, and nearly 300 hospitals across the nation took part in this very same event.

"The sun is out we had people out here starting screening at 8 a.m and they were happy, great I am glad to see those morning people and as the dancing started the energy level is just really great and really high and we love that because it’s great to get everybody excited for something that’s all about health," said Holly Voltz, Manager, Marketing/Public Relations- Genesis Hospital.

Their next program is ‘Hips Don’t Lie’ on how to protect yourself from bone loss on Tuesday, March 15, at 5:30 p.m. That event will be at the Genesis HealthPlex conference center.
