ZANESVILLE: Geraldine Eppley, 86, of Lawhead Lane, Zanesville, passed away December 26, 2011, at 9:15 pm in The Ohio State University Hospital, Columbus.

Gerry was born in Chicota, TX the daughter of the late James H.and Janie (Johnson) McCourt. She was a housewife and previously worked for Timken Roller Bearing for over 10 years and she was a member of the Baptist Church of Chicota, TX.

Gerry is survived by her son Terry Eppley of Zanesville; a granddaughter Mary (Stephen) Clark of Zanesville; 3 grandchildren Taylor, Dakota and Tristen; 1 brothers Earl (Ray)(Louise) McCourt of Texas and 2 sisters Belmarie Furgeson of TX and Norma Jean Warren of FL. And sister in law Katie McCourt and special friends Betty Moore and Timothy Page. Other relatives, Robert Bailey and Samuel Stewart Jr. and the many health care workers that was involved in her care..

In addition to her parents, Gerry is preceded in death by her husband Wayne R. Eppley who passed away October 3, 2006; her daughter Connie Eppley who passed away Jan 4, 1981; brothers John R. McCourt, James McCourt, and Billy A McCourt and 4 sisters Ola May McCourt, Dolvie Jordon, Heneritta Wright and Kathleen White.

Visitations will be 11 to 1 and 5 to 7 pm Monday January 2, 2012 at the Farus Funeral Home, Duncan Falls where funeral services will be 11 am Tuesday, with Pastor Stephen Harrop officiating. Burial will follow in Duncan Falls Cemetery.
