Girl Scout Cookie Time

Tagalongs, Samoas, Thin Mints… it is that time of year again; the infamous Girl Scout Cookies are on sale starting today. Girl Scout’s is the biggest female run business and selling cookies is their BIGGEST fundraiser. This morning area Girls Scouts underwent training to make their cookie sale a success.

"They are learning sales pitch,  they are learning marketing skills, they are learning how to talk to their customers and of course use their manners – please and thank you and they are learning all about the cookies" said  Lori Wood, Cookie Rally Coordinator.

The best selling cookies are the originals like Thin Mints, and Tagalongs but, if you do not know someone selling cookies or want more after you have ordered wait until March and your cellphone maybe able to help.

"All they have to do is put in the app in their phone and they can find out exactly where the cookie booths are being held"explained Wood .

The number you can dial is ** GS, but the mobile application will not be available until March.
