Gladys King

Gladys R. King, 97, of Roseville, formerly of New Lexington, died Sunday September 28, 2025 at her home surrounded by her family. She was born on July 1, 1928 in New Lexington, a daughter of the late Frank and Maude (Hillard) Wolfe.
She is survived by twelve children Cheryl (Lee) Parsons, Susan Fox, Cindy (Donnie) Henning, Madonna (Kevin) Henning, John Wayne (Louann) King, Teresa Robison, Rhonda Butcher, Lisa (Daryl) Folk, Martha (Bobby) Myers, Jane McConaha, Mary Wallace, and Joseph (Cindy) King. 38 grandchildren, 46, great-grandchildren, 14 great-greatgrandchildren, and two great-great-greatgrandchildren on the way. One sister Sarah Harris. Many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Rodney “Monk” King, one stillborn daughter Misty, her siblings Ida Mae, Ethel, Ruth Irene, James, Russel, Mary, Georgia, Charles, Tom, and Margaret.
Gladys was baptized as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses in 1973 and she loved her service to Jehovah and sharing the Bible with others. She dearly loved her family and friends, she was witty, loved to sing and dance the jitterbug, watching birds, enjoyed listening to George Strait and watching the Price Is Right.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday October 4, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses-New Lexington located at 1685 State Route 93, New Lexington, Ohio 43764. (Six Mile Turn).
