Glenn Ore

Glenn Virgil Ore, 62, of Zanesville passed at 9:47 AM Sunday, June 14, 2026, at the Genesis Hospital.

He was born on Monday, October 14, 1963, in Zanesville, Ohio, the son of the late Glenn Ore and Lura K. Ralph Winters.

Glenn worked in fire protection as a sprinkler system installer for many years. He was an avid pool player, fisherman, golfer and card player. Glenn loved spending time with his kids and grandkids.

He is survived by, two sons, Glenn (Ashley Mahon) Ore and Michael Ore; his significant other, Buffy Nethers; three step children, Willie (Tosha) Nethers, Megan (George) Robbins and Amber (Chris) Robbins; grandchildren, his best buddy, Jackson Ore, Sophia Ore, Collin Nethers, Stella Nethers, Branson, Brayden, Addie, Gracie, Willow, Noaah and Yarrow; a brother, Quint (Alexis) Ore; a sister in law, Patty (Brian) Madinger; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Glenn was preceded in death by a sister, Kitty Lynn Ore and his beloved dogs, Possum and Riley.

Visitation will be from 3:00 to 5:00 PM at the Bryan & Hardwick Funeral Home where funeral service will be held at 5:00 PM on Thursday, June 18, 2026 with Chaplain Tim Patton officiating.
