Glouster Man Sentenced
A Glouster man will spend a year behind bars after pleading guilty to three counts of trafficking in Heroin.
48-year-old Jeffrey Degarmore appeared before Athens County Judge George McCarthy for sentencing. Along with the year behind bars Degarmore will also be subject to an optional three years of post release control. He was also ordered to undergo a six month driver’s license suspension and must pay court costs.
Athens County Prosecutor Keller Blackburn reported that on three separate dates in 2014 Degarmore sold Heroin to a confidential informant.
This case was investigated by the Athens County Sheriff’s Office.
