Golf and Giving Back with the Carr Center

ZANESVILLE, OH – It’s tee time with a purpose, as the Carr Center invites golfers to hit the green for a good cause.

The Carr Center is hosting its annual golf outing at Eaglesticks Golf Club on Thursday, September 18th. Check-in starts at 7:30 and teams hit the course at 8 AM. The cost is $400 a team, which covers a foursome with carts, four mulligans, skins game entry, a boxed lunch, and eight drink tickets.

“We have a couple businesses that are doing some fun things per hole, some games, and there’s a hole in one contest. We’re really excited.” Carr Center Executive Director, Katie Graham said.

There will be cash prizes, fun games, and sponsorship opportunities. All proceeds from the outing support the Carr Center and its programs that serve the community.

“It helps run our programs. Just like every nonprofit, we’re desperately a nonprofit, so everything we get counts, and we use it all.” Graham said. “We have our pediatric speech department which includes private therapy in our toddler enrichment program, and then we have our adult day program. Those are two main programs. We also have our CPR classes which are brand new, and Safety Town. We have so many programs.”
