Grandma Joy and Brad Ryan endorse a candidate in the race for U.S. Senate

ZANESVILLE, Ohio – The Democratic candidate for the U.S. Senate made a campaign stop in Zanesville and the crowd featured two local celebrities.
Among the nearly 100 people in attendance, Brad Ryan and his gradmother, Joy Ryan, showed support for Brown. The duo from Duncan Falls, have made national headlines for visiting every National Park in the country. Brad even wrote a now published book titled “Grandma Joy and Me” that chronicals their travels.
” I don’t know how anybody could expect my grandmother and I to visit all 63 U.S. national parks and not be invested in their protection and their stewardship. So, you know, if the Republican Party wants our vote, then they need to stand up for our public lands and then to stand up for the working class. They need to stand up for health care for senior citizens,” Brad said. “That’s not happening right now. And so if you don’t stand for something, you’ll fall for anything. And we are proud to stand with Sherrod Brown and every Democratic candidate that’s in the race this year.”
Additional concerns included the war in Iran, gas prices, and data centers. Both of the Ryans have casted their ballots early in this election and are encouraging everyone to vote and vote early if they can.
“You need to get out there and vote, because Sherrod is the only one that’s looking out for the people like us, and we need to get out there and keep the land free for our future generations. So we’ll see you at the voting polls. Don’t forget to come,” Joy said.
WHIZ reached out to Husted’s campaign for comment but they have not responded by the time of reporting. Early voting is underway in Ohio. Election day is Nov. 3 and you can find your polling location by visiting your county board of election’s website.
