Grant to Improve Wastewater Treatment Plant in Coshocton County

A state grant is helping to improve the waste water treatment plant in one Coshocton County village.

The Ohio Department of Development announced Wednesday that West Lafayette will be receiving $500,000 in funding through the State’s Water and Sanitary Sewer program.

The funds will be used to expand the Wastewater Treatment Plant.

The improvements are part of a $1.7 million project that also includes the construction of a new building containing a laboratory and garage.

The project will benefit 1,175 households in the area.
