Gregory Jarvis

Gregory Allen Jarvis, 75, died Monday morning, March 3, 2025, at Sycamore Run Nursing Home, Millersburg, Ohio.
Born April 18, 1949, in Columbus, Ohio, he was a son of the late Raymond and Jean (Schmitz) Jarvis and a 1967 graduate of Gahanna High School. Greg was a United States Army Veteran, serving in the 173rd Airborne Brigade. He was a lifetime member of the VVA Chapter 55 in Newark, Ohio. Greg enjoyed shooting guns, listening to The Beach Boys, family gatherings and emailing his military buddies. However, his greatest pride and joy in life was his family, especially his grandkids.
Surviving is his wife of 28 years, Nola Jean (Ebdrup) Jarvis, whom he married on November 30, 1996; seven children, Carrie Bradley, James (Melissa) Jarvis, Jacob (Jenny) Jarvis, Jolene (Steve) Hendershott, Amanda (Chris) Spinks, Joshua (Angela) Lukander, and Brandon Lukander; eighteen grandchildren, Lakyn, Madyson, Trevor, Jadyn, Trenton, Kyler, Cady, Camryn, Draven, Alonna, Danika, Ayden, Gwen, Charlie, Cydney, Alaina, Makayla and Avi; two great grandchildren, Hayes and Nelli; four siblings, Mike (Carole) Jarvis, Chris (Linda) Jarvis, Becky (Jim) Whittington, and Laurie (Craig) Phillips; sister-in-law, Karen Wilkerson; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Jeff Jarvis.
A Celebration of life will be held from 2:00-4:00pm, Sunday, March 9, 2025, at the Dresden American Legion, 1384 Main Street, Dresden.
Military honors will be presented at 2:00pm, Sunday, March 9, 2025, by the Dresden American Legion Post 399.
