Group Changes Plan: Grow Pot at Home

A group pushing for a constitutional amendment to legalize marijuana in Ohio has rewritten its proposal to allow people to grow a limited amount in their homes. A group called Responsible Ohio is pushing to get the constitutional amendment on the November ballot that would legalize the sale of marijuana for medicinal and recreational use. Bakers of the amendment plan to spend millions of dollars to get it passed. The proposed amendment had called for 10 grow sites across the state. The group says it has rewritten the plan to allow people over 21 to get a license to cultivate up to four plants at home for personal use. The group says it revised the amendment so it would mirror one recently enacted in Oregon.
