Guernsey Co. Man Faces Drug Charges

Buckius

Guernsey County- Guernsey County Sheriff Jeffrey Paden announced that 37-year-old Scott Buckius Sr. of Cambridge was indicted by a grand jury for four counts of aggravated possession of drugs and tampering with evidence.

Authorities said his arrest stems from a narcotics investigation by the sheriff’s office and the Central Ohio Drug Enforcement Task Force.

Law enforcement learned Buckius had been traveling to the Columbus area to obtain bulk narcotics.

Officials conducted a traffic stop on February 1 and arrested Buckius on an outstanding warrant.

The stop led to the seizure of a large amount of Methaphetamine and a bulk amount of Fentanyl, which authorities said was brought back to Guernsey County with intention of being distributed for further sales and use.
