Gwyneth E. Rouse age 24, of Caldwell, OH passed away Tuesday, June 16, 2026 at Nationwide Children’s Hospital in Columbus, OH She was born April 1, 2002, in Cambridge, OH, the daughter of Heather (Michael) Bettinger Bass and the late Eric Rouse.

She attended Crum Ridge Church of Christ, graduated from Ewing School in May of 2024, and received her diploma from Monroe Central High School. Gwyneth enjoyed swimming, listening to her favorite music, and watching Disney movies alongside her sisters. Nothing brought her a bigger smile than the opportunity to hold a baby. Gifted with a compassionate heart and quiet wisdom, she had a remarkable ability to listen, making family members feel comforted and understood whenever they needed someone to talk to. Her gentle spirit and unconditional love will be deeply missed.

In addition to her father, she is preceded in death by her paternal grandparents Neil and Joan Rouse and maternal grandparents James and Eva Bettinger.

Those left to cherish her memory, in addition to her mother Heather (Michael) Bettinger Bass of Caldwell are her siblings Ian (Kirsten) Rouse of Woodsfield, OH, Sydney Bass and Ashton Bass of Caldwell; niece Kelaya Rouse; nephews Imerick and Kalveston Rouse; grandparents Mark and Joanne Bass of Vermilion, OH. She is also survived by several extended family members and friends.

The family will receive friends for visitation Friday, June 19, 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Chandler Funeral Home, 609 West Street, Caldwell, OH 43724. A funeral service will be held Saturday, June 20, 2026 at 11:00 AM at Crum Ridge Church of Christ, 40660 Crum Ridge Rd, Caldwell, OH 43724, with Evangelist Roger Rush and Evangelist Brent Smith co-officiating. Burial will follow in the Crum Ridge Cemetery.
