Hair Salon Cuts Ribbon at New Facility

ZANESVILLE, Ohio — Brenwood Hair & Nail Salon celebrated their new facility today with a ribbon cutting ceremony.
The salon, which was originally started back in 1973 as “The Hairitage,” has moved to a new location on Maple Ave. and one employee says it’s just another way for her and her fellow employees to come together and create an exciting new start.
“It’s wonderful, it’s beautiful. I love all the bright lights, everything is more of a natural light. We all moved with the same girls so we’re all very comfortable being together and it’s just exciting starting over in a new salon. We’re all like a bunch of sisters being able to work together. We all take care of each other and get along well with each other,” said Cheryl Varhola a stylist at Brenwood Hair & Nail Salon for the past 39 years.
Serving in the community is extremely important to the employees of the Brenwood Salon and they use their services as a way to give back to those that support them.
“Working for this salon for so many years, we’ve done so many community things. We work and volunteer in the community all the time, so obviously it’s very important to us to do all the things we do in the Zanesville area to take care of our clients and take care of the needs of Zanesville,” added Varhola.
The new facility is located at 1709 Maple Ave. You can visit their website for more information on the variety of services they provide at www.brenwoodsalon.com.
