Ham to Be Served at Christ’s Table This Thanksgiving
Visitors of Christ’s Table will soon be treated to a Thanksgiving feast, thanks to the Muskingum County Township Association.
With the help of Reisbecks, the association donated 25 hams to the food pantry to help feed those in need this holiday season. President of the association, Stephen Bradley, said each 10 pound ham represents a different township in Muskingum County.
“I told them hams would go further and be easier to serve, you don’t have to pick it off the bone, so that’s the reason we went with hams, we got 25 hams, and we’re willing to help the community out by donating the hams,” Bradley said.
This is the first year the association has made a donation of this magnitude to Christ’s Table, and Bradley said it feels good to know their contribution will be making a difference.
“It feels good, we support also the 4H Foundation in Muskingum County, and they needed help here, so we were willing to help here, and it feels good to help the people here, and help them feed the hungry,” Bradley said.
