ZANESVILLE, Ohio- A local church held a public dedication for its new building this afternoon.

Hands of Faith Church moved from its home on Pine Street over to Brighton Boulevard a month ago. The new location gives the church more space to do their ministry.

“We’re able to have an opportunity to share with the community a little bit of our ministry, who we are, what we do; but more importantly let them know we’re committed to helping to make this community better than it has ever been before,” said Dr. Michael Bullock, Pastor of Hands of Faith Church. “And to be a part of the growth and development of Zanesville.”

Pastor Bullock said the community is welcome to stop by for service to see what they’re all about. Bullock said there are many activities for people to get involved in and make themselves at home.

“We’re a very diverse ministry both socio-economically and geographically. We have people coming from a lot of different directions and different areas,” said Bullock. “We have a lot of different areas for people to come and participate in from our youth programs to our toddler nurseries, to our teens as well as our choirs and dance teams, ministries.”

Mayor Jeff Tilton was in attendance giving a proclamation to the church. Senator Troy Balderson also joined the dedication. Hands of Faith has service at 10 a.m. Sunday mornings.
