Harold Williams

Harold R. Williams, 69, of Nashport, passed away peacefully at his home on Saturday, June 27, 2026. Born in Huntington, West Virginia, he was the beloved son of the late William Harold Williams Jr. and Marilyn Keyser Krumm.
Harold truly loved life and was famous for his infectious optimism. He lived by the catchphrases “I’m living the dream”!” Whenever anyone asked how he was doing, his signature response was always a cheerful, “Just Peachy!!” He lived life to the absolute fullest, cherished his time traveling, and was known by all as a remarkably generous and funny man. Above all else, Harold was deeply devoted to his family.
He dedicated his life to protecting others through a distinguished career in Fire and EMS Services, retiring in 2016 as the Assistant Chief for the West Licking Joint Fire District in Pataskala, Ohio. Throughout his years of service, he also gave his time as a volunteer fireman for both the Thornville and Fairfield Beach Fire Departments. Passionate about mentoring the next generation of first responders, Harold worked as an instructor for Fire and Paramedic training, guiding countless individuals into public service careers. He expanded his expertise by becoming a certified police officer and working with the NHRA in Safety Services. Harold was also proud to be a founding member of SFI Safety, dedicated to protecting professional drag race drivers across North America.
He leaves behind a legacy of love and service and is survived by his devoted wife, Brenda S. Williams; his two sons: Christopher (Kristina) Williams and Nathan Buzza; his daughter, Melody Buzza (Eric Rinehart); and his brother, Delmar Brad (LeeAnn) Williams. He was the proud Pappy of Typhani Williams, McKenzi Williams, Alexadrian Buzza, Ashten DeMent, Analeigh Rinehart, and Daxton Buzza; and the loving great-grandpappy of Kaylie and Zaelynn. He is also survived by a loving extended family, including many dear nieces, nephews, cousins, and lifelong friends.
