Harry Bates

Harry A. Bates age 52, of Caldwell, OH passed away Saturday, January 20, 2024 at Altercare of Zanesville, OH. He was born October 7, 1971, in Cambridge, OH a son of the late Martin Bates and Ruth A. Leasure.

He was a construction worker for most of his life. He enjoyed watching sports, especially the Ohio State Buckeyes play football.

Those left to cherish his memory, are his daughter Hannah Antill of Caldwell; 2 grandchildren Waylon Walker and Westen Walker; 3 siblings Lisa Jamiel of Zanesville, Chad Bates of Columbus, OH, and Brenda (Chuck Bittner) Bates of Zanesville; niece and nephews Ryan Jamiel, Rachel (Cameron) Jamiel Forshey, Devin Williams, Bryan Fulkerson, Chris Hupp, and Cody Bittner; his dog and companion Mickey. He also enjoyed spending time with his uncle Kenny Shafer and his aunt Lucy Long.

Cremation will be observed with no additional services held at this time. Inurnment will take place at a later date in Mt. Tabor Cemetery where he be laid to rest with his mother Ruth and grandparents.
