Heartbeats Spreads Love with Grateful Hearts Campaign

ZANESVILLE, OH – December 3rd is Giving Tuesday, a day dedicated to generosity, and one local organization is giving the community a chance to make a meaningful impact while honoring their loved ones.

Heartbeats is holding their annual Grateful Hearts Campaign and is inviting families to honor a loved one through a donation. In return, the families receive a hand-painted glass ornament, which is now proudly displayed at Heartbeats’ offices in Zanesville and Newark.

“This is our Giving Tuesday Grateful Hearts Campaign. What you can do is in honor or in memory of someone that you love or cherish, you give a donation of $25, $50, or $100 or more and we hang an ornament on our tree. The $25 ornaments are a silver heart, which we hand painted, our staff hand painted these. The gold heart is a $50 donation, and $100 or more gets a red heart,” Zanesville Branch Heartbeats Director Linda Dady said.

Heartbeats is a non-profit medical clinic that provides alternatives to abortion and offers essential resources and care for women and families. Every donation made during this year’s campaign helps support their mission of saving lives.

“It’s important because every ornament that we hang represents a life. It’s a cherished life. We are all about life here at Heartbeats. The sanctity of life is our mission,” Dady said. “We are a pregnancy center. We’re a non-profit. We do pregnancy tests, and all of our services are free of charge. We do pregnancy tests, we do first trimester ultrasounds, and we do parenting classes here.”
