Hearth and Home Wraps Up

Vendors at the Hearth and Home Show packed up Sunday after the weekend long event.

You now might be wondering how to afford making those renovations to your home. Refinancing your home is one option.

"The rates are so low right now and a lot of people do have equity in their homes that they could unlock," suggests Heather Shoenleben.

With the added money, your house and yard could be "all decked out" or add something special just for the kids like builder David Thomas did.

"An elevated deck and we put a house on top of it with the siding and roofing and everything and slides and spiral slides. It is a little bit of everything, almost like a city park in the back yard," said David Thomas from All Decked Out.

Vendors felt the show was a success and hope they gain new business. The show will take place again next year
