Hearth, Home and Away Concludes Showcase
The Hearth, Home and Away Show concluded its showcase Sunday…
This weekend, vendors used creative displays to attract shoppers at the Colony Square Mall in Zanesville. Owner of Lones Stone and Landscape Mike Lones said he wanted to show people the variety of products his business has to offer.
"Well, we have, our motto’s "Always something to look forward to". A lot of people have been out, but we try to keep things fresh to show all the new products, there’s innovations all the time, some of those are things that we make," said Lones.
Orkin Service Manager Harold Hewitt found an interesting way to draw in customers. His pet scorpion "Maximus" served as the main attraction, and he used the opportunity to educate people on local pests.
"It’s been a pretty mild winter and we suspect in just a few weeks there’s going to be a whole lot of bugs out there. And if you’re having issues, we really wish you’d give us a call. We’ll give you an inspection and tell you what we can do for you," said Hewitt.
