Heat Causes Pavement to Buckle

How hot was it on Wednesday?

Check out this photo posted by the Ohio Department of Transportation District 10.

This is a portion of Interstate 77 north between Macksburg and Caldwell. The heat actually caused the pavement to buckle.

ODOT sent crews to the scene and the roadway has since been repaired and reopened.
