Heath Man Indicted By Licking County Grand Jury

A 79-year-old Heath man accused of raping a juvenile has been indicted by a Licking County Grand Jury.
 

Lloyd Bixler faces one count of rape, two counts of gross sexual imposition and one count of unlawful sexual conduct with a minor.
 

The Licking County Sheriff’s Office says Bixler was arrested last Sunday after a complaint was filed alleging that Bixler engaged in sexual conduct with a child over a period of years.
 

Authorities say the victim, now 15-years-old, reported that she was 8-years-old the first time the incident occurred.
 

Sheriff’s detectives say Bixler admitted to the allegations.
 

He’s currently being held in the Licking County Jail.
 

A bond hearing has been set for Tuesday September 7th.
