Heath Man Killed In Crash

The Newark Police Department says a Heath man was killed early Thursday morning in a motorcycle accident.  Captain Craig Riley says just before 4 a.m. 31-year-old Albert Franklin Stewart was riding his cycle on the State Route 16 westbound access ramp to State Route 79 Southbound  Riley says he lost control of his motorcycle and went off the right side of the roadway, slid down a grass covered embankment then striking a sign post. Stewart was pronounced dead at the scene.  Captain Riley says excessive speed and alcohol are considered factors in the crash which remains under investigation.
