Heath Police Searching For Shooting Suspect
Heath Police are searching for a man involved in a Wednesday morning shooting incident.
Authorities say shortly before 5:30 a.m. Wednesday, officers responded to an apartment in the area of Custer Road and S. 30th Street on a report of shots fired.
It was reported to officers that a resident, Dennis Hair, pointed a gun at someone then fired the gun into the street.
Police say Hair fled from officers upon their arrival and a short vehicle pursuit took place.
The pursuit ended when officers lost sight of Hair in the area of West Main and 11th Street in Newark.
He was last seen driving a red 2014 Ford Mustang with Ohio license plate FDV8521.
Police say Hair should be considered armed and dangerous.
Authorities say if you see him to call police immediately and do not approach him.
