Heavenly Ham Helps Army

On Wednesday helping out a good cause is as simple as where you buy your lunch.

Heavenly Ham will be selling seven dollar boxed lunches and two dollars from each lunch will go to benefit the Salvation Army.

“A great way to do this is if you work at an office or with a group of your co-workers get together and call their order in or fax it in, it’s real easy to do. Then on Wednesday we show up with your lunch, free delivery that day, as we always have, and as I mentioned $2 from that is donated to the Salvation Army,” says Mike Alfman, owner Heavenly Ham.

They’re asking people to start placing orders now because they expect to sell anywhere from five hundred to one thousand lunches that day.

Alfman says they’ve seen a lot of success in the past with this type of fundraiser.

“We’ve seen a need out there. It’s a way for us to reach out to the community and for the community to help. It’s a real easy way to make a donation to whatever charity or organization that we’re working with on the fundraiser,” he says.
