Henry Angler

Henry Lewis Angler, 78, of Zanesville Ohio, passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 12, 2025. Henry was born on September 5, 1946, to Roy and Margaret (Dawson Scott) Angler. In addition to his parents, Henry is preceded in death by his siblings, Bobby Angler, Jim Angler, Roy Angler, John Angler and Martha Wideman as well as a grandson, Isaac Angler.
Henry leaves to cherish his memory, his loving wife of 47 years, Vickie Leona Angler; children, Amy Viney, Jennifer (Jeremy) Ball and Robert (Nicole) Angler; grandchildren, Michelle Lake, Albert Lake, Brice (Sharalyn) Ball, Clayton Angler, Chris Lutgen and Nick Lutgen; great grandchildren, John Jenkins, Isabella Lake, Garrett and Emma Ball; sisters, Ann (Larry) Wood and Sylvia Kirkbride; brother, Harold (Helen) Scott; nephew, Dave (Brenda) Angler; as well as several other friends and family.
Henry worked in the oil field and steel mills. Henry was known for his mechanical abilities and love for working on cars. Henry was a great storyteller, especially when sharing about his time in the Peace Corps. He enjoyed watching westerns, watching the news and going fishing, but most of all he loved being with his family. He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather.
You may call on the family on Thursday, January 16, 2025, from 10am until 1045am at Burrell Funeral Services, with graveside services at 11am in Woodlawn Cemetery. BURRELL FUNERAL SERVICES is serving the family.
