Henry H. Hunt Jr. (May 13, 1941 – February 18, 2016)

ZANESVILLE
Henry Hugh Hunt Jr. age 74 of Zanesville passed away Thursday February 18, 2016 at Genesis Hospital. He was born May 13, 1941 in Mayfield, KY and son of the late Henry Hugh Hunt Sr. and Helen T. Shaw.
He retired as an Electrical Engineer and Head of Maintenance at Wendy’s New Bakery on Airport Road. He was a member of First Christian Church; Malta Lodge #118, F&AM Norwich, Royal & Select Masons, Zanesville Council #12, Royal Arch Masons, Zanesville Chapter #9, Zanesville Commandery#10 Knights Templar, Ancient Accepted Scottish Rite, Valley of Cambridge and OES Laura Chapter #264.
Henry is survived by his wife Carol Jones Hunt of the home; four children Kirsten (Mark) Burns, Henry Hugh Hunt III, Charles (Jeannie) Hunt and Carmen (Rodney) Cox all of Tennessee; three step-Children Candace (Marvin) Matchett of Coshocton, Clarrinda (Scott) Williamson of New Concord and Cherrie Hina of Zanesville; step-mother Lillian Kent Hunt of Kentucky two sisters Ann (Pat) Powers of Kentucky and Marilyn Rivers of Florida; Half Sister Mary Olivia Jarrett of Indiana; three step-sisters Claudia (John) Earles and Patricia Shaw of Kentucky and Anna Gene Davison of Illinois; one step brother-in-law Pat Hicks of Kentucky; step-brother Don (Paula) Shaw of Kentucky; six grandchildren, four step-grandchildren; two great grandchildren and four step-great grandchildren.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one brother Christopher Hunt; step-father Howard Shaw; sister Helen Shaw and Step-sister Phyllis Hicks.

Calling hours will be held from 2-4 and 6-8 on Sunday February 21, 2016 at THE SNOUFFER FUNERAL HOME, 1150 WEST MILITARY ROAD, ZANESVILLE with Masonic services being held at 5:30pm. Funeral services will be held at 11am Monday February 22, 2016 in the Snouffer Chapel with Rev. Dawn Remster and Dr. Herbert Hicks officiating. Burial will follow in Zanesville Memorial Park Cemetery.
