Herbert ”Herb” G. Newton Sr (December 3, 1948 – February 3, 2012)

Herbert ”Herb” G. Newton Sr., 63 of Zanesville , died 4:11 pm Friday, February 03, 2012 at Genesis Good Samaritan of Zanesville

He was born December 03, 1948 in Cincinnati the son of Chester F. and Louise A. (White) Newton.

Herb was a carpenter for 37 years and loved to fish.

Herb is survived by three daughters: Tina (Lonnie) Farmer of Zanesville; Dusty Newton of Zanesville and India Cassidy of Columbus; two sons: Herbert (Misty Miller) Newton, Jr. and Jason J. (Samathia) Newton both of Zanesville; 13 Grandchildren; two brothers: Chester Newton, Jr. or White Cottage and John W. Newton of Florida; two sisters: Janet Went and Linda Christley both of Zanesville. In addition to his parents, Herb was preceded in death by one grandson: Tommy Reed, Jr., and a brother Charles Newton.

Friends may call Monday February 6th from 2 – 4 and 6 – 8 PM at the Hillis & Hardwick Funeral Home with funeral service at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, February 7th, 2012 with Pastor Joseph A. Divincenzo officiating. Burial will conclude in the Zanesville Memorial Park Zanesville OH.
