Here We Go Again — Expect 3 Inches of Snow Today

The next arctic cold front will begin to move through the region today. Highs will occur during the morning, and then temperatures will begin to fall during the afternoon. Snow will also accompany the front as well. Light snow will begin during the early morning, but will begin to pick up in intensity during the mid to late morning. It will be breezy as well, so visibility may be greatly reduced at times. Wind gusts up to about 25 or 30 mph will be common, especially this afternoon. We can expect about 1-3 inches of accumulation across most of the region.

A few more snow showers/flurries will still be possible during the overnight and skies will be mostly cloudy otherwise. Lows will drop to a few degrees below zero and wind chills will range from -10 to -20.

It will be bitterly cold once again on Thursday, with highs in the middle single digits across the region. Winds will still be breezy, so wind chills will be as cold as -20 once again. A few left over flurries will be possible as well, mainly during the morning, otherwise it will be mostly cloudy across the region.
