High-Risk Drug Warrant Executed on East Pike

ZANESVILLE, Ohio – The Muskingum County Sheriff’s Office and Zanesville Police Department’s Special Response Teams executed a high-risk drug warrant that led to two arrests this morning. The operation was announced on Thursday on the Muskingum County Sheriff’s Facebook page.

The search warrant was a culmination of an on-going drug trafficking investigation being conducted by the Muskingum County Sheriff’s Office and Zanesville Police Department’s Joint Drug Unit. Multiple firearms and narcotics were seized as a result of the search warrant at 3122 East Pike on Thursday at 7 a.m.

This investigation will be forwarded to Muskingum County Prosecutor Ron Welch to review for charges.
