Hill Appointed to Balderson’s State Senate Seat

State Representative Brian Hill (R) of Zanesville is now going to represent this area from the State Senate.  Ohio House Speaker Ryan Smith announced Tuesday that Hill has been appointed to fill the vacant 20th Senate District formerly held by Congressman Troy Balderson.  Smith congratulated Hill on his appointment and said “although now in a different role he will continue to be a champion  for southeast Ohio.”  Hill told WHIZ News that he is “honored to be selected to serve in the Senate”.   Information will be released soon on the appointment process for the 97th District seat.
