Hittle Farms Produce

ZANESVILLE, Ohio – Many of the vendors you see at the Zanesville Farmers Market have been a part for decades. But for Hittle Farms Produce, it’s their 4th.

Jarrod Hittle said the family owned business location in Dresden, Oh started 5 years ago. The farm grows and sells 18 different vegetables, chicken and brown eggs. Hittle said their company takes pride in keeping their business local.

"It’s locally owned and everything is locally grown. We work with three other farmers in the area so everything that you see here at the farmers markets and our co-op members get comes from the Dresden or Trinway area. That’s something that we’re proud of, we don’t go to auctions and try to by stuff and bring it in we want to make sure that it’s all local and all Muskingum County," said Hittle, Co-Owner, Hittle Farms Produce.

Hittle said begin apart of the farmers market have been very beneficial for their business.

"It gives us some exposure, it gets us out off the farm and allows us to meet new people and interact with people and that is always enjoyable as well," said Hittle.

If you missed them today they will be set up at the Zanesville Farmers Market each saturday from 9 a.m through 12 p.m.
