Holiday Bazaar Shows Growth
From an event that started out years ago with less than 20 vendors, the Devillettes Holiday Bazaar has shown significant growth through the years.
115 vendors filled the lower level of Secrest Auditorium. The annual holiday bazaar exists to raise money for Zanesville’s Devillettes.
"Helps provide uniforms, props, helps on transportation and just in the general funding of the Devillette program at Zanesville High School," says Wayne Carpenter, Zanesville Devillettes.
All 21 members of the team worked hard to prepare for the event, and in the end, the hard work really pays off.
"Friday we had to unload the tables and stuff and this morning we had to be here at 7:30 to help out the vendors bring their stuff in and set it up. It helps us get our new uniforms and all that so it’s nice," says Devillettes captain, Stephanie Wells.
The girls are preparing for their next season which starts in December with basketball.
